Living and Walking in the Spirit

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”  Galatians 5:25

To “live in the Spirit” is a state of being in which we have died to our self-life and have yielded the totality of all that we are and have to Jesus, so He can live His life through us as a present day witness.

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me….  Galatians 2:20

I live; yet not I.”  This requires us to live on a high plain of integrity and commitment in order to maintain the necessary spiritual sensitivity that will make this possible.

“If we are living by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us be guided” Galatians 5:25 BBE

To “walk in the Spirit” is to live one step at a time, with every aspect of our life experience being lived in total "yieldedness" and "willing obedience" to the will and purpose of our Lord.

As we walk with the poise of our spirit upward toward the Lord, His abiding presence and peace will confirm that we are walking in the center of His will.

Now, we are both living and walking in the Spirit.

Open The Door

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock....  Revelation 3:20

This “door” is the entrance into our spirit.  We must quickly respond to the manifestation of His presence (knocking), and invite Him to come within the “room” of our spiritual being. As our desire for The Lord grows we learn how to open the “door of entrance” into our spirit. The Lord will come to visit with us,  waiting for us to respond to His knock upon the door of our spirit.  We must, in an attitude of expectant anticipation and worship, invite Jesus to come within. The “door of entrance” to our spiritual chamber is always within our control, and can only be opened by us.

If any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him….  Revelation 3:20

We must open the door. This principle is established in Scripture. He will knock (testing our awareness) waiting for us to open the door.  But, He will leave if we do not invite Him to come within. Beyond His abiding presence (gifts and blessings) we begin to long for His “manifest presence.” As we seek to have a “personal relationship” with Jesus we will become intensely aware of the longing of “The Bridegroom” for “The Bride” and we will abandon all that would hinder us from “sensing” and “quickly responding” to the “manifest presence” of Our Lord.

The Eyes of Our Understanding

Our own thoughts and ways must be set aside in order to follow Him.  He is the Christ, the Anointed of the Lord God.  Therefore, the natural man cannot come this way, for he cannot discern the presence, nor receive the anointing to bring us into this higher realm.  This is a function of the Spirit, not of the mind.

The Lord greatly desires to introduce us to “His kingdom” through a Spirit-led life.  He cannot allow us to have a part in this higher governmental realm of His kingdom until we have totally submitted our lives to be governed by Him and have in some measure, learned how to “walk in the Spirit.”

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what is the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.”  Ephesians 1:18

There is much that is available to us - which we have yet to appropriate, as we have a tendency to settle for less than His adequate provision.  Our Lord is challenging us to move upward and onward.  The present feeling of spiritual dissatisfaction by many within the Body of Christ is His prodding.  These “stirrings” within us are His means to bring us “higher.”

“Brethren, I do not imagine that I have yet laid hold of it.  But this one thing I do – forgetting everything which is past, and stretching forward to what lies in front of me, with my eyes fixed on the goal I push on to secure the prize of God’s heavenward call in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 3:13-14 Weymouth

I push on to secure the prize.”  The kingdom of God is the goal.

“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the Spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.”  Revelation 4:1-2

For us to “live in the Spirit” is to become subject to the guidance that comes from the “throne” in His kingdom.

During this time of transition from the Church into the Kingdom, a remnant is being called to “come up” into a higher realm of identification with our Lord, in His throne.

True In Him

Jesus has triumphed in all things. He has triumphed over the Devil Completely. But
has He COMPLETELY triumphed over the areas... all the areas of my Life? Now that’s
another question. There is a practical unfolding of what is true “in Him”. Judicially,
He has triumphed. There is a process by which we experience that. In this process,
He wants to possess His Kingdom; the Kingdom is within you, it’s within me (Luke 17:21)
If you present yourself daily to The Lord as a living sacrifice(Rom 12:1) He will cause you to
experience what is true “in Him”….”in you”….The salvation of your soul is the sovereign
reign of The Lord within you. The Lord will break the shell(His trials and tests) that surrounds
your spirit so that He may be released into your soul. As He begins to take possession of that which
was lost then His Kingdom has come in this earth (me and you) as it is in heaven.
Its no longer I that lives...But Christ that lives in me...That is COMPLETE VICTORY (Gal 2:20

Desert Song

Balance

It is important that we understand that we do not progressively grow out of the “milk” stage (blessings)
and then press into the “meat” (dealings and testing's) of God.  There is a marvelous balance wherein
the Lord works concurrently in each of these levels within us.  Thus, in one area of experience,
we are seen by the Lord as being a spiritual “babe” and are coddled accordingly, while at the same time
in another area, we may be seen as an adult with much more expected of us.
As we progress through each of these different stages of spiritual growth, we are to fully experience
all of the feelings, emotions, and relationships that apply to each particular area of our spiritual growth.
This will enable us to become stable, balanced, mature.

Spirit Words

Spirit Words are like surgeons scalpels. With our mouths we
have the power of life or death. We can use our words with the
Holy Spirit as a scalpel to bring healing and restoration into the
lives of others, or we can use words in a destructive manner that
spiritually harms and injures others. “Reckless words pierce like a
sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing” (Prov. 12:18).
We will encounter many who have been wounded by words.
Emotional wounds and words that have been released only to harm
often are blocking an individual’s ability to receive the
spiritual and physical healing they need. The Holy Spirit will touch
on the need for forgiveness as a point of release for many.
Many times, the person is bound by words that have been spoken
against them that have resided in their heart for many years and
need to be renounced and rejected as not of The Lord. Harmful
words are like links that form chains that can over time bind a
person from being who The Lord desires them to be. As we
spend time with The Lord each day we are filled with light.
As we walk in this light we have true fellowship and see
those around us with Spirit Eyes and begin to minister words
of life that break every chain.

More And More Of You - Worship Mob

We Are Anointed

“He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches.”  Revelation 3:22

Jesus is not referring to our natural ability to hear, but rather, to our “inner spiritual ear” through which we receive the “anointed” Word of God.  Because our spiritual ear is tremendously important, the word concerning our spiritual hearing is repeated in each of the messages to the seven Churches.

The word “Christ” primarily refers to the One who is “Anointed” (Jesus), and secondly, to the “Anointing,” or to those who are anointed.

“But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of GodNow we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God... For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.”  I Corinthians 2:10, 12, 16

This “anointing” enables us to partake of the realm of the Spiritual (we have receivedthe Spirit which is of God).  When we are anointed, or in an atmosphere of the anointing, we hear with understanding the deeper meaning of the Word of God (we have the mind of Christ).

My Prayer for Us Today

My prayer is that You will be stirred  so that your heart becomes  hungry for reality and truth,
a reality that is beyond your current understanding, a  fellowship with the Lord  Jesus,
an understanding  of His Word, a beautiful time that you set aside each day to bear
your soul to His Glory. Father grant each of us a new and liberating touch from You.
Lord make us sensitive to the moving of Your Holy Spirit.  Give us a vision of who
You desire to be in each one of us. Deliver us from the bondage of the "here and now".
Lord may we see everything in our life in the Light of Eternity. Lord cause us to walk in Your light.
Lord bring to a place we have never dared go. Lord tear down all that would hinder You
in our lives. In The Name that is above every name, In Christ Jesus name I pray, Thank You Lord, Amen.

There is a Prayer request form at the bottom of the page.
Please know that each request is brought before The Lord
as I seek Him each day. Feel free to email. I correspond
with people around the world each day and everyday
The Lord desires to do a "New Thing" in our hearts.

Expressions of His Life

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done in (our) earth, as it is in heaven.”  Matthew 6:10

This ability to “live” in the Spirit, in which His will is being accomplished in our earthen vessels (our daily life experience), requires that we have a basic understanding of the laws that govern a Spirit-led life.  These “spiritual laws” are set before us by the Lord in progressive order in the Sermon on the Mount, which reveals the requirements for us to live an overcoming life.

These principles do not deal with externals, but primarily with the motives of our heart – that which underlies all that we say or do.

“And seeing the multitudes, He went up into a mountain: and when He was set, His disciples came to Him: And He opened His mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”  Matthew 5:1-3

Being “poor in spirit” means that we have come to the end of our self-life, and in an attitude of submissive dependence, we are being led by the Spirit (for theirs is the kingdom of heaven).  As we spend quality time in His presence, we will be “lifted” into the realms of the spiritual and “enabled” to walk with Him in the outworking of His will and purpose.

“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”  Matthew 5:4

We cannot help but mourn, as we have this treasure in an earthen vessel.  The Lord understands that it is not easy for us to give up our own ways, in submission to His will and purpose for us.  Therefore, we will be comforted by Him as we take up our cross and die to all that we desire, apart from His will and purpose for us.

“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”  Matthew 5:5

Our being “meek” is not living in a state of weakness, but rather one in which the strength of our self-will has been broken, and the attributes of the divine nature that are resident within us begin to find expression.

Faith of The Son

It is good to know that the “faith” that we live by is not ours,
but is a gift from Him! Everything that we believe and practice must
have Christ as the center. The Person and Work of Jesus Christ must ever be
our focus and emphasis. The Race of Faith…From Faith to Faith
Real faith is not our faith, but rather “the faith of God” (Rom. 3:3).
Salvation is progressive (our soul) as well as once for all (our spirit), real faith
gradually moves us around the Christian race course “from faith to faith” (Rom. 1:17).

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title-deed) of the things (we)
hope for, being the proof of things (we) do not see and conviction of their reality
[faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses] (Hebrews11:1 AMP).

By faith we begin to move in harmony with The Holy Spirit toward our destiny.

I am have been crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the
Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20).

It is this kind and quality of faith that causes us to progressively express His Life.
It is not a life changed but a life exchanged. His cross does its perfect work as
we moment by moment, thought by thought, choice by choice witness Gods
sovereign reign extend to every area of our life. This is the walk of faith.
“I live, yet not I”….the Gospel in five words….that will unfold for all eternity.

Greater Works

“Verily verily I say to you, he that believes on Me, the works that I do, shall he do also and
greater works than these shall he do because I go to My Father.”  John 14:12

In the new birth, we are made partakers of the “divine nature.”  Adam never attained this.
In redemption, we have come higher.  Now, “Christ” is in us.  It is not just the will of the Father
being done through one person in one place at one time.  Rather, it is the will of the Father being
done in the multiplied lives of all those (His Body) who have totally submitted themselves to Jesus,.

The “greater works” then, is the corporate expression of His will being done.
Jesus, “the light of the world” will increasingly light the entire atmosphere of the world,
as His resurrection glory begins to shine out through the corporate Body of Christ.

All Honor - Worship Mob

In Here

It’s still dark “out there.” But “in here”…in the realm of spirit….it is
light. “Out there” is the realm of flesh, the natural world, there is a dark
night of circumstance. “In here” is the realm of spirit is where my
"life is hid"... "in Christ" "the life I now live is by the faith of the Son"

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things
which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but
the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Cor. 4:18).

Our source is not external, that which we receive through natural
senses. We walk by faith and not by sight, calling those things which be
not as though they were (Rom. 4:17). Everything outside of Christ is
darkness and death, but “in here,” in Christ, all is light and life.
Light represents understanding (Eph. 1:18). We are children of the
Light not the night! (1 Thessalonians 5:5). As we partake of
The Tree of Life we become the Light of the world. (John 8:12)
His very Life is as a light to everyone in our life. We bring His
presence with us wherever we go and it will cut through every
bondage and fear in all those who God has placed in our life.
The Lord has called us to be a present day witness and expression of His life.

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people:
but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. (Isaiah 60:1-2)

True Understanding

In the Garden of Eden, the enemy told Eve that if she and Adam would partake of the tree of the “knowledge of good and evil,” they would gain the right to be “as gods.”  That is, they would receive the right to do as they pleased (Genesis 3:3-5).  They partook and died spiritually, losing their relationship of total dependence upon the Lord (The Tree of Life).

The right that was gained in the Garden of Eden to choose for ourselves, remains with us, even after our sins are forgiven and cleansed through the blood of Jesus.  Therefore, we function on the lower level of the “knowledge of good and evil,” doing what we feel to be right and best.

Many times, we fall short of true understanding, and we hurt the spiritual walk of others through our sincere, but faulty counsel.

The Lord recognizes this “right” that we gained in the Garden of Eden through Adam’s transgression, to choose for ourselves between good or evil.  However, we can give up the right to do as we please by taking up our cross and submitting ourselves to the Lord’s will.

If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”  Matthew 16:24

The “if” tells us that we ourselves must choose to submit our will to Jesus, and die to our right to ourselves.  Otherwise, we will continue in our own ways.  When I began to understand this, I turned aside and prayerfully gave back to the Lord the right to do as I choose - judging for myself what is good or evil (right or wrong).  Then, I unconditionally submitted my life to His Lordship, and I began to look to Him to make these choices for me.

When I made Jesus the “Lord” of my life, I gave Him the right to deal with me as He chooses for whatever purpose He may have.  Over the years that I have known the Lord, I have learned that many times He has used this submission of my life to Him in order to prepare me to minister to another.

The circumstances that He takes us through for this purpose are usually apart from, and completely different than any need that we may have within our own life experience.  However, these experiences will “qualify” us to become an instrument in His hand to help and encourage others.

Becoming A Bride

There are unending demands on our time, which keeps us earth bound, and unable to take the necessary time to “ascend” and receive of His life and strength.  These things need attention, but in the end, they will all be left behind, for they have no value in relation to eternal things

There is another word that is being quickened at this present time, “becoming a Bride,” which relates to our having a “higher” (deeper) walk with our Lord.  Our being a “Bride” speaks of a submissive relationship to the Lord.  This Bride is “within” the present-day Church, and is quietly being made ready for her unveiling.

As we confess our utter dependence upon the Heavenly Bridegroom (Jesus), and commit our lives to Him, we lose our identity and take on His identity, that in a submissive relationship to Him, we become the witness and expression of His life.

The Overcomer and The Multitude

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My
throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with
My Father in His throne (Revelation 3:21).

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no
man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people,
and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the
Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their
hands…(robes and palms speak of Redemption and Salvation)
 (Revelation 7:9)

In the Book of Revelation, there are two classes of Believers.

The first is The Overcomer.

The Overcomer is The Bride of Christ whom He has chosen.
It is all those who went further with The Lord, beyond their
salvation and responded to the High Calling in Christ and
are seated with Christ in His throne. A people called of God
to more. Who loved not their lives unto death. Who rose
above their life circumstance and  overcame, who followed
The Lamb wherever He went. A Bride who has "made herself ready"
for The Marriage Supper of The Lamb".

The Second is The Multitude.

Therefore are they (the multitude) before the throne of God,
and serve Him day and night in His temple: and He that
sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them…(Revelation 7:15)

For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed
them (the multitude), and shall lead them unto living fountains of
waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes
(Revelation 7:17).

There is a vast multitude that stands before His Throne.
They received of The Lord during their life the free gift of Salvation.
Heaven is their home for all eternity.

As they stand in the presence of The Lord and see all those who overcame
that are seated with Him they begin to weep and cry with a loud voice
because now they realize that they missed the opportunity to be an
overcomer and be chosen as His Bride. They spent their lifetime
accumulating riches in this world and being concerned for temporary
things and the cares of this world but failed to purchase eternal things.

Revelation 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb,
and by the word of their testimony;
and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Our testimony is the expression of our relationship with The Lord.
It is the accumulation of all the decisions that we have made over
our lifetime that have registered and formed our "Eternal Expression".
The Multitude was freely given Salvation but did not grow during
their lifetime but chose their own way and the way of the world and
never submitted their lives to His Lordship.

The Overcomer during their lifetime allowed The Lord to bring them into a
special relationship where they became a “Living Sacrifice" unto The Lord.
Their self-life was dealt with by the daily working of The Cross and
was no longer an obstacle or hindrance to the expression of His Life. They are
the “Wise Virgins”, Their lamps were full of oil which speaks of direct
and ongoing communion with The Bridegroom.

The time that we have, here on earth, is the most important time of all eternity,
as we are making our decisions for eternity now.  This is the reason The Multitude shed bitter tears.
They saw what could have been, as they "stand" before the throne and see the overcoming Bride
"seated" with The Lord.

John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and
he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal

If we love our life here we will lose something of eternal value there...........

The unspeakable Joy of having an intimate relationship with Our Lord as His Bride for all Eternity.
A Joy unspeakable and fullness of Glory as we rule and reign with Our Lord as His Sons for all Eternity.

“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 3:14

“And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end,
to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; ....
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” –Revelation 2:26-29

Paul saw the difference in these groups, and he sought the higher level (high calling of God).
May we also seek this eternal relationship of being seated with Jesus in His throne, as a Bride and a Son having

"Overcome this world even as He Overcame"

Our Lord will surely "wipe away the tears" of the multitude and "dwell" among them.
However those are tears that we never need shed as Today we can come before Jesus
and "surrender our lives" to Him and allow Him to take us far beyond our Salvation and
prepare us as His Bride. This is the very heartbeat of The Lord as He sits enthroned beside
The Father ever making intercession for us that we would be engaged to Him with eyes for
Him only and "enter in " so that on "that day" our place will be at The Marriage Supper of The Lamb

Falling In Love With Jesus - Worship Mob

Be of Good Courage

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”  Psalm 27:14

It is here in His presence that we will begin to understand the mysteries of the Kingdom.  There will be a realignment of our inner being, and our priorities will change from the natural to the spiritual.  Our spiritual senses will be energized by His presence and restored to respond to His purposes.

As we wait upon the Lord, we will experience a genuine encounter with the Lord. Then wherever we go, the result of this “manifest presence” that we have experienced, will cut through every bondage and fear in those who are witnessing the result of our life being the expression of His life.

During these prolonged times spent in His presence, we are “sowing” to the Spirit – enlarging our capacity to flow with the Holy Spirit.  It is always costly to the natural man, but this provides us with the opportunity to overcome.

A Pure Spirit

How rare it is these days to find a pure spirit. Usually whenever our spirit comes forth, so does our soul ; they are mixed. So it’s not power we lack but purity. Many of Gods most powerful servants have erred at this juncture. Everyone bears witness that the power of God is flowing through them , yet because their spirit is mixed, they are harming and hindering the very life they impart.

At some point in our spiritual journey we become aware that we have touched the Lords life and it begins to flow through us and minister to others. All the while we remain unaware that it is being filtered and mixed with our soul. As we continue to walk with the Lord he will make us aware of this.

A love and desire for a pure spirit will be birthed in us.

When we are young in the Lord and first begin to experience the gospel in power we are at times overwhelmed and much of what comes out is mixed, so people touch our life as well as the Lords. We must allow the Lord to so work in our lives that a pure word flows forth. Through the discipline and revelation of The Holy Spirit this can be done.

When the spirit comes forth, it must not be shadowed by our soul. Through the discipline of The Holy Spirit we are broken. The natural life begins to find less expression as we minister. The Lord produces a cleanliness or purity of spirit in us.

As we walk in a greater measure of light we judge ourselves before God and are changed from glory to glory. If we don’t submit in this area then our soul and spirit automatically come out together.

At some point this will cause great harm and confusion as we bring people into a mixed experience.

As I have walked with the Lord over the years this is the single biggest problem in the lives of God's people. Frequently we touch both life and death in our brother. We find God but also self, a meek spirit but also stubbornness, the Holy Spirit but also the flesh...all in the same person! When we stand to speak, many may be impressed but a mixed spirit remains, a spirit which is not clean.

May the cry from all those who desire to share the Lords life be "Create in me a clean heart.
Renew within me a right spirit." Divide the spirit from the soul that Your life may find pure, perfect and powerful expression.

(Heb. 4:12,13)."For the word of God is living and operative, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and penetrating to the division of soul and spirit, both of joints and marrow, and a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is not a creature unapparent before Him; but all things are naked and laid bare to His eyes, with whom we have to do".

Wait

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”  Isaiah 40:31

During these times of intimate fellowship, we are brought into a closer union with Him.  In the closeness of this communion, we will receive of His life and strength, and along with this, we will come into a deeper understanding of spiritual principles and an unfolding of His word, which will draw us yet closer.

The times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”  Acts 3:19

Waiting upon the Lord” is the key to a victorious, overcoming life.  Throughout the Psalms, whenever David found himself in difficult circumstances, he constantly reminded himself to “wait upon the Lord.”

A Proceeding Word

2 Peter 1:4

New International Version (NIV)

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them
you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

The promises are given to us; we don’t take the letter to Him.
The Spirit is The Life of The Word
God has HIS WORD, and He has a Word.
There is a present Word that the Lord would speak Today.
It relates to His eternal purpose and is birthed in our spirit.
The divine order is Seek First His Kingdom.
We often tell The Lord what we want.
Rather our prayer should be…
Lord..what do You desire this day.
What is Your Will and Your Way for me Today.
Our desires most often relate to the “here and the now”
to temporary things that will pass away.
We Live by every word the Proceeds from Him.
When His Word is spirit birthed it abides through the eternal ages.
The Word which God speaks into our hearts has faith
already with it, and it is creative.
As soon as that Word gets into our hearts, it begins creating;
bringing life; it has power.
May we with hungry and expectant hearts wait before The Lord moment by moment
for that Life Giving word that will take us step by step
into His presence where we are changed, Spirit, Soul and Body.

Mathew 6:32-33
....for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you.

God's Love

Luke 10:27

Living Bible (TLB)
27 “It says,” he replied, “that you must love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind.....”

Many of us don’t consciously refuse God's love, we just feel we are unworthy of it.
We carry with us the weighty idea that His love must be earned and deserved.
This carries over into all of life and often goes back to our childhood where
we were taught to think that all love is conditional. “If I’m good enough, I can be rewarded.
If I’m not good, I can only expect to suffer for my wrongness.”
Yes, we’re unworthy of it. Yes, our sin-nature stands between it and us.
The fact is no one of us is good enough to deserve God’s love, It only comes to us unconditionally.
It is only upon His initiatives, not ours, that it is available to us. We must “seize” it. By blind faith.
1 John 4:7 says “Love is of [or from] God”. This means that it has its origin in Him, it emanates from Him,
and cannot be fully known apart from Him. Since this is a quality that only comes from God Himself,
we cannot expect to produce it apart from Him. Herein lies a secret to a breakthrough in our faith.
Although our sin grieves God, redemption creates a path to know God's love. God's light shines in us
and we see our true condition and the condition of the world around us. We are drawn by the Holy Spirit
to a heart repentance. We call upon the Lord and invite Gods Son Jesus to reside in us.
This most important moment is the beginning of our eternal life and opens the door to know and grow in Gods love.
We must realize that He loves us unconditionally and wants us to experience His love. There is no experiencing of God
so great as that of experiencing His love and allowing His love to move through us to touch others.
This love flows in two directions. We, as both recipients and givers, stand in between the two.
Our love to God is to be without reservation, with all our heart (the place in us where our spirit meets our soul and responds to God),
with all our soul (the part in us that defines our personality and decides who we are, what we are, and how we act and react),
with all our mind (the part in us that thinks, learns, knows, decides, and understands), and
with all our strength (the capacity in us that rises up, breaks down opposition and reaches out to God).
God's love permeates all aspects of our being. There will be no part of life left untouched
as He loves us and our newly born spirit finds expression in our soul and we enter the school of the spirit
and daily learn to function in His Kingdom as His love flows from us throughout all eternity.

Walking In The Spirit "Real Time"

In the Christian experience, in our walk with God, there are deep waters, sometimes dark clouds of circumstance. When times are good and the blessings are flowing we know God quite well but sometimes things happen that touch us at our very core. They may appear to negate many of His promises to us.

Then come the people… family, friends, coworkers, bystanders…who point their finger…”Something’s up”, they say, the misfortunes, which have occurred are in some way the hand of God working against you. The truth is that the hand of God is working in the lives of believers for a much higher purpose.

During situations like this are we able to look up to God? To affirm the power of God?  To acknowledge the sovereignty of God? To give credit to the glory of God without ever uttering one question or one complaint…questioning God? That takes an intimate knowledge of God.

It is shocking sometimes how things can strike us without any warning then at just the wrong moment you hear from others….through many misguided words and prayers… “So many of us are praying for you so hard. Why doesn’t the Lord?....why, why, why ?” As my faith is being tried that’s a question I don’t ask…the temptation is to somehow find fault with Gods dealings in our life.

When God brings our soul into a place of crisis that, in itself, is not evidence of divine displeasure but a revealing of the condition of our heart. God can tell a great deal by what we say under stress and the pressure of fiery trials. David said in the Psalms, “Thou hast known my soul in adversity.”

“Oh Lord, we believe for miracles…Let’s bind every evil spirit…Amen! Let’s have healings…Amen! That’s all part of the program but you know God has a place he wants to take us, not by eliminating these, but along with them, taking us onto a higher level where we will understand… where we will know His ways and be brought to a place that we might work in harmony with The Holy Spirit no matter what our eyes see.

The test is for us is to keep God on the throne of our hearts even though everyone else has misinterpreted His dealings. You know, God not only brings into our lives the sweet, but also the bitter? We like everything sugar coated, but the Lord brings the bitter into our lives and yet at that moment we can actually be in the center of the will of God.

“All things work together for good to those who are the called according to his purpose,” but people stop there. If you read on, it says, “That we might be conformed unto the image of His son.” God’s ultimate objective for you and me is not for us to enter a period of uninterrupted blessing however religious that might sound.

God’s ultimate objective is that we might be found in the likeness of His Son. That’s what He’s after, ultimately. That is why God has to bring all sorts of tests and trials into our lives. Do you remember when Jesus had His disciples for a communion service? He said to them, “Drink ye all of it.” Now what did He mean? He meant, that you might willingly participate in the experiences, the sufferings that are involved in this cup, in this cup there is death…burial and resurrection life. If you drink this cup…”all of it “ your vision will be lifted above your circumstance above the natural realm to begin a walk in the Spirit. Only from this perspective can you start to see Gods eternal purposes so on “that day” you will be “found in Him”

Many of Gods children never grow up and allow Him to bring them into maturity as real men and real woman of God. It is only when we present ourselves as “living sacrifices” and release the Lord to work as He chooses within the whole of our life circumstance that His life can be imparted to us.

Heaven will not be a place of mixture. It is only His Life that will pass out of time into eternity. Everything else will be consumed by fire.

When I become aware that I am facing a crisis I release from the depth of my spirit “God is good. God is present. God makes no mistakes. God is working. God is just, affirming the righteousness, the faithfulness of the character of God. Affirming the Sovereignty of God in the my life. ”

As we have made Him Lord we are under  His hand of divine providence. Whatever happens we have done that which is right in the sight of God so we can stand in the midst of misfortune and say, “Shall not the judge of all the earth do right.” “I know that my Redeemer liveth.” I don’t understand it; I cannot explain it; I do not know what it is all about. But one thing I know, Glory be to God in the Highest, for His Kingdom is established in my heart. This is The Day That The Lord Has Made And I Will Rejoice And Be Glad In It. I will give the glory to God in the midst of circumstances that defy explanation and solution, my soul is anchored in who God is, in spite of what comes into my life either through Gods hands or by His permission.
