Glory in The Cross

It is when we begin to glory in the Cross of Christ
and the finished work of the Cross that we encounter opposition.
His Cross does everything we cannot do.
It brings the rule of the first Adam (self) to an end.
It reveals the resurrection life of the second Adam (Jesus).
The Cross is an offense to many for it is a path of complete dependency upon The Lord Jesus.
Everything that is desired and required by God is only available at The Cross. It is our daily experience.

(Rom 10:4 Moffatt NT) Now Christ is an end to law, so as to let every believer have righteousness.

The Big Picture

Our destiny is to be conformed into the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ, fully expressing His nature and glory. The Fathers ultimate intention is that He may inhabit, subdue, and exercise dominion in the earth through His corporate Son (male and female), the Body of Christ; through US! We have been called to be the Bride of Christ, a Companion of like nature and ability. To this end and purpose, you and I have been elected, chosen beforehand. In this reality we are very busy, very involved, and in the closest, most intimate relationship with Jesus, but HE is doing it...not us. He is in charge of our very existence. We only say what He says and we only do what He does. We stop living ourselves and allow His life to find expression through us.
These realities only come within the context of the gathered Body, His Church. which is being assembled, put together and re-membered by the Holy Spirit. He is gathering and collecting the Saints together and bringing clarity as to who they are before the foundation of the world. Clarity comes to each individual concerning their particular ministry, but that will never make sense until we allow Christ to reveal how it fits in with the rest of the Saints. We are living stones built together; we all have a place where we fit within the cluster of grapes, not outside the cluster, doing our own thing! There are no independent contractors in the Kingdom. To fulfill your destiny in the Kingdom, you must flow in proper Kingdom relationships with others who are in the Kingdom!

Proof

I don’t have to prove the Bible or explain God. Some people
spend half of their lives proving the Bible, keeping God’s glory
bright, and holding Him on the throne. We were never called
to do this.
We are called to live for Jesus
and let God take care of His work.

Now

The most important time for us in all of eternity is “right now.” We are making choices and decisions today that will affect our eternal position and reward. Eternal life is not future; we have that now as part of our redemption. “Where” we will be is a settled fact.

What” we will be in eternity will be the result of the accumulated choices and decisions that we are making now, in our daily life experiences. Our “new creation life” is as a “seed” that has been deposited within us, which is being formulated and developed into completeness. When eventually it is released into the “soil” of eternity, it will unfold, revealing the full manifestation of what it had become during our present life experience.

Boast

As for me God forbid I boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is because of the cross that my interest in the world died long ago
and the world's interest in me is also long dead.

The Gift

The greatest gift and blessing that we possess
is our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and our hunger for

communion with The Lord.

Unless we maintain a time of active daily communion and

fellowship with our Lord, this “hunger,” along with the
anointing that enables us to unlock and understand the
deeper levels of revelation within the Word of God, will
gradually fade until we are left spiritually barren.

“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young
men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength….”  Isaiah 40:30-31

To maintain our spirituality, it is essential that we set apart
a specific time and place in which to “wait upon the
Lord.”  As we do this, we will be “re-charged” spiritually.
Just as a battery that has been discharged through use
must be re-charged, so also, we must hold ourselves before
the Lord, to allow His life and power to flow back into our
 being.
