The Love of Christ Constrains Us

2 Corinthians 5:14-16 (KJV)
14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

Father, God
How incompetent we are in our own ability. How ignorant we are in our own wisdom.
How weak we are in our own strength. But even as we see this Father we confess
that in and through Christ we can do all things that you have called us to do.
Even that thing which we have said in our heart is impossible, Lord thank You that
as Your Love is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit it constrains us to judge correctly
and not to know ourselves or our brothers and sisters with natural eyes.     Amen

It is the Love of Christ that is the only basis of an obedience that is acceptable and pleasing
to the Father. Except that love be our primary motivation then we are not walking in the Spirit.
Many walk in fear of judgement as their motivation but this is not a place to remain. It is the Love
of Christ that brings every thought captive. It is this love that lifts us and transports us into
the Kingdom…into who we are in Him…sons…a bride…overcomers.
If I allow this love to apprehend me I might be able to see the one inside of you…the real you that is crying out to
be made one with The Lord and be joined to His body with cords of love that can’t be broken!
We are joined together with this love for one purpose. That there might be a revelation of Him
as the Head of a many membered body. Each member as a branch joined to The Vine.
Each member as a joint of supply. As faith lays hold of the finished work of the Cross this
begins to be our experience. When one died all died...henceforth we are known not after
the flesh. We are not ignorant of the devices of the enemy of our faith. He would keep us
in a carnal realm of natural knowledge where he can sow seeds of discord and separate us.
It is the Love of Christ that brings every thought captive to the reality of the Cross.
Love the Lord with all your heart and soul…Love your brothers and sisters as yourself.
It is only when we take our eyes off ourselves and our brethren and put them on the Lord
the the reality of the Cross becomes our experience. The Kingdom of God is righteousness
peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
