There
are many different levels in the expression of worship within the Body of
Christ. The first time I attended a Full Gospel meeting, I was disturbed
by the loud audible praise, and attempted to leave. I understood “blessed quietness,” but I had never heard
everyone in a service singing and worshipping the Lord loudly and freely.
Today, I am eternally thankful that the Lord had His way and that, though
slowly, I entered into this same spiritual freedom in the expression of audible
praise and worship.
Worship
increases our desire to experience the presence of the Lord. It is a key
to our becoming sensitive to His presence, and to our learning to recognize His
voice. As we are faithful in our expression of worship to the Lord, we
will become increasingly more aware of His abiding presence, and we will more
easily discern His voice. Our vocal worship will do much in helping to
develop these spiritual qualities within us.

Pure worship
Pure worship brings
unity into a Gospel meeting. It releases
the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon the meeting and creates an awareness of
the Lord’s presence within those who are worshipping. Worship both hinders and displaces the
functioning of principalities and demons, as worship creates an atmosphere that
is conducive to spiritual warfare and deliverance.
Therefore, when the music and atmosphere is favorable, the Holy Spirit readily “lifts” those who are worshipping into the manifest presence of the Lord, in which the quickening power of the Holy Spirit transforms lives.
This “Holy Spirit imparted” capability of flowing together in audible worship, relates to the fact that at the time of our salvation experience, we received the enabling ability to express worship to the Lord. This “spirit of worship” abides deep within each one of us, and awaits an opportunity for its expression. All that is needed for us to begin to worship the Lord in prophetic harmony, is anointed music and a little encouragement.

The Life
The
Christian life is something removed altogether from controversy
about what we do and what we don't do. "The kingdom of God is not eating and
drinking not, that is to say,
to be conceived in those terms at all, but righteousness and peace and joy in
the Holy Ghost," which are in a realm
wholly different. The Christian lives, and is guided, not by rules specifying
just how far he may mix with men, but
by these inward qualities which are mediated to him by God's Holy Spirit. " Righteousness
and peace and joy" are matters of concern in The Kingdom of God. Never let
us be drawn away, therefore, into the old realm of "eating and
drinking," for it is neither the prescription of these things nor their prohibition
that concerns us, but another world altogether. So we who are of the kingdom
need not abstain. We overcome the world not by giving up the world's things but
by being otherworldly in a positive way: by possessing, that is, a love and a
joy and a peace that the world cannot give and that men sorely need. We are
partakers of a divine nature. Its not a life changed it is a life exchanged. I
live yet not I but Christ lives in me!

Let It Be
The Christian life
is a supernatural life. That is, above the laws and limitations of the natural
man and cannot be
perfectly expressed by him. When we first begin to seek out some of the ideals, teaching and principles, and try in our own power and will to move toward them by
using the finest qualities of the old creation life we get a lifeless religious result.
Christ is the center of the new ideal and life. He lives it through the surrendered life of a believer.
“Christ in you the hope of glory.” “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I,
but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,
who loved me, and gave himself for me” Galatians 2:20.
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” Matthew 5:42.
What an astounding statement, in the face of a needy, perishing world, Our Lord is not calling us
here to do anything, as far as a religious activity or service is concerned.
He simply says, "BE.” This little word suggests a "potential",
it suggests growth, development, partaking of a divine nature. Releasing a new creation life.
We pray "Lord just tell me what to do" It is so much easier to "DO" than to "BE".
here we find that the goal toward which God is working. That the Life of His Son that has been
deposited within us might find full and free expression. It is this Life that perfectly pleases The Father!
LET IT "BE".

The Promise
I live in the
Spirit, I believe, and in the
sense of being directed, getting the voice of the Lord and the mind of the
Spirit. I just know this, That God has reduced all of that leadership
and direction to me until I find myself walking continually under a strange
spiritual intimation in my inner being. It doesn't always come in a verse or a Word, but it's a strange intimation in my spirit as I am in one with God. I move with God; I move in the Spirit; as far as I know I am moving in the will of
God. As far as He reveals it to me, I accept it and by His grace I walk in that Spirit. And therefore, when
there's anything to be done, He brings
an intimation in my spirit, "This is
the next step, this is the next
way". And as He does that, He gives
me a Word or an assurance or some kind
of a confidence in my spirit,
that's the thing that I believe. And when I believe that, lay hold of that, take that as my steadying portion, I get through to victory. Now
that seems to be the only logical way that I can get it, and it seems to me that's
the scriptural way.
2 Peter 1:4
"Wherefore He hath given unto us
the precious promises."
Why? So
you can use them to make God do something? No, you got the thing all wrong. He gave us the precious promises to give a sense of security that I
have something to rely upon. I have a sense of authority back of me when that Word is in
me. A sense that God is with me; the
thing is real; the thing is true. And
when under that, I keep my spirit bathed in it, walking in it. I
believe it's because we keep in touch with Him that this becomes real in our
experience. The promises are given to us
to steady us while we do the thing that God is asking us to do.
Isaiah 30:21
"This is the way, walk ye in it."
Now, how?
Well , here comes
The Word of The Lord into my heart to give me
a sense of security; to establish my
faith; to keep my soul anchored. And I take that little Word, whatever it is, and I close it up in
my heart and guard it and anything that is contrary to it is brought captive.
And away I go!
And it brings
results!
I wasn't taught
that years ago but I discovered it and
I've taught other people and they all come
back, even years afterward and say,
"Thank God, I'm
liberated!"
Matthew 4:4 World
English Bible
But he answered,
"It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word
that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'"
We live by a
proceeding word. God has something to speak to our heart today, That is beyond
anything He spoke to us yesterday.

The Call of Deep unto Deep
Down
in the depth of my nature
Where
the issues of life are born,
From
that unknown mystical realm
Surviving
through ages of storm,
A
call is forever rising–
But
its language I cannot speak.
It
was born ere I had being,
‘Tis
the call of deep unto deep.
_______________________
Our
mother tongue here is awkward,
For
no words can fully express
The
needs in the depths of nature,
In
bondage to sin and distress.
Our
hearts in their depths sorely ache;
They
hunger; they call; and they seek–
Then
silently wait an answer
To
the call of deep unto deep.

Down
deep in the heart of our God,
In
mystical regions sublime,
In
the Godhead’s holy council
Long
before our world or our time,
An
answer was fully prepared
Every
pain, every ache to meet,
In
Christ, God’s only begotten,
Is
answer to deep unto deep.

The
Answer indeed was the Word,
The
Word when expressed was the Son.
Oh
language of God how profound!
In
answer what more could be done?
The
heart of our God is hungry,
His
portion, His people to seek.
“l
thirst,” was cried by the Answer-
‘Tis
the call of deep unto deep.

Walking with sinners
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the
counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the
seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law
doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the
rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also
shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.Psalm
1:1-3
Do you
notice in passing, how people deteriorate in their relationship with God?
First, you have walking,
then you have standing,
then you have sitting.
First we walk with the sinners. Then we stand with them, and finally we sit
with them. We're one of them. One of the most important choices we make in
our daily walk is saying no to some relationships that are harmful to our
spiritual growth. To deny
these will form a cross in our life as we yield our will to chose for The Lord. To continue in them will cause
great harm spiritually. You will find it impossible to maintain your witness as you lose your communion with The Holy Spirit as you are walking outside the will of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Two Trees
We are Trees of righteousness...The planting of the Lord.
We have been created with the potential to relate to our Creator.
There are "Two Trees" in our life experience placed there by the Lord.
Please take time to visit this website and find out more about making choices for The Lord.

Hearing His Voice Again
A few days ago I had
not spent the necessary time waiting, seeking, praying, till I had the
assurance of the Presence of the Lord in my heart before venturing into my day.
And so I suffered most of the day with a troubled heart. Yes, I know, foolish me. At the same time I know it’s not always
foolishness; these are increasingly difficult days; we are up against Egypt and
Babylon—a world system built from the ground up to shut God out. But when I could endure it no longer I
finally found a quiet place and bowed my head and opened my heart to my
Lord. I am so thankful for His
mercy. It was not long before His
Presence seeped into my heart and washed out the troubles. And He began to speak to me. Oh, the preciousness of hearing His Voice
again! I am sure He could hear mine—the
troubled bleating of one of His sheep who had temporarily lost his way. But as soon as I heard the Voice of my
Shepherd I had my bearings again; I knew where I was, and where I was
going—that is, where I was being led.

The Price of Truth
If the Lord had made spirituality both attractive and
easy to attain, multitudes would have followed Him.
“For many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14).
There
is a vast difference between a prophet
and a politician. The term “grass roots” refers to the discovery of what
people think and want. The politician then offers what the majority wants
and as a result, becomes popular and is elected. In other words, the
politician seeks out which way the majority is going. Then, he stands in
front of them and says, “Follow me.”
But
the prophet stands alone and says, “You are
going the wrong way, turn around.” The politician is popular
because he relates to the majority. The prophet is never popular because
his word is costly and requires change. People often are deceived because
they choose that which is presently comfortable, rather than being willing to
pay the “price of truth.”
“Buy the truth, and sell it not….” Proverbs
23:23
Truth
is always costly and the result may not be seen, but to choose less, in the
long run is much more costly.
“But he who did not know, yet committed things
deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few.
For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required….” Luke 12:48
Those
who continually look for “something for nothing”
are open to deception. Many of these will compromise, rather than submit
to the Lord’s way. The Lord works very slowly, but very thoroughly, as He
is more interested in what we are becoming than in what we are doing. Our
“self” will always seek comfort, and a
life of ease.
“For many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14).
For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required….” Luke 12:48

Beyond Our Present Understanding
“And no man puts new wine into old bottles; else the
new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.”
Luke 5:37-38
We are this
bottle. Jesus is telling us that we must have a capacity to hear a fresh
word from Him that is beyond our present understanding. We must have a
spiritual ear and capacity to hear fresh revelation and understanding, beyond
that which we heard in the past.
Throughout the
course of history, there have been specific times of intervention in which the
Lord used an individual to change the course of history. Examples of this
are Noah, Abraham, and Moses. These times of specific divine intervention
lifted mankind from one level of His workings and dealings to a higher level.
At this present time, the Lord is knocking on the door of our spirit, preparing us so He can again move in direct intervention, as we are approaching the time in which the Church Age will close, and we will move into the Millennial Kingdom Age.
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man
hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him,
and he with Me.” Revelation 3:20
“To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with Me in
My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His
throne.” Revelation 3:21
“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened
in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet
talking with me; which said, Come up here.... And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in
heaven, and One sat on the throne.” Revelation 4:1-2
These Scriptures
begin with Jesus knocking on the door of the Church and end with Him seated
with those who are overcomers, on the Throne in His Kingdom.

Holy Solemnity
“Ye shall
have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of
heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to
the mighty One of Israel.” Isaiah 30:29
There are many treasures and riches of the knowledge of God
that God has for those whose heart and spirit is poised God ward…a holy
solemnity. “When a holy solemnity is kept.” Now there is such a thing as a holy
solemnity when you sit there, and for no other reason. You have no special
presence, no special guidance, for no other reason than that you admire your
God, worship your God. You sit there quietly with your spirit reaching out up
to God, a heart directed God ward in a state of worship. It’s the time of holy
solemnity.
And you can just sit there, hands up ahead. I use a chair
with arms so I can support my elbows because you get tired. I just sit there.
Oh, an hour, half hour or quarter, two hours. I have done it more than that;
just sit there in a holy solemnity. Once in a while a little praise comes out
quietly, “Praise the Lord, Hallelujah.”
Look in Psalms 92:1-3. Believe me, this might not sound like
much. You might think it’s a little thing to listen to, but don’t you believe
it. It’s one of the greatest treasures you can give to God. It’s one of the
greatest pleasures, which God enjoys when His people sit in the night (or by day)
in a holy solemnity. No prayer request, no asking for money, no asking for
healing, no asking for anything. It’s all one way now, a holy solemnity. This
is to God of a very great price.
“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to
sing praises unto thy name, Oh most High: To shew forth thy loving-kindness in
the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Upon an instrument of ten
strings, and upon the psaltery; (and the drummery) upon the harp with a solemn
sound.” Psalms 92:1-3
This solemnity need not only be a solemnity of silence,
although there is that. In Habakkuk we read, “Be still and know that I am God.”
The very grandeur and omnipotence and greatness of God silences the human
spirit. Be still, be silent, “Be still and know that I am God.” But there is
also a holy solemnity in song. Here you have it, “Upon the harp with a solemn
sound,” a low sound.
As you sit there before the Lord, you can engage in a
solemnity, a holy solemnity, by a low sound: “Hallelujah, Praise the Lord”
(very quietly and softly). “Praise God, Hallelujah, Glory, Hallelujah” (very
quietly), a holy solemnity, a worshipful silence interspersed with a low sound, a solemn sound.

Armor
I
emphasize these things in the last few posts because it seems to me that God's people for the most
part do not care to become involved with God's battle plan...but choosing to be
mobilized by some outstanding church leader rather than knowing the voice of
the Lord God for themselves. Some do not even want to be around on the Day of
the Lord...because they read of the terror of that Day...and fail to see the
Light that will engulf the darkness. They talk about God 'sparing' them from
His wrath - yet fail to understand that God "spares" His people, by
clothing them with "the whole Armor of God".

The Day of The Lord
It certainly
appears to me that we are close to the Day of the Lord. A 'Day' that is
described in scripture as a time of gross darkness in the world about us...yet
holds forth the promise of a glorious Light that will shine upon His people.
The prophets spoke much of this "Great" yet "Terrible" Day
- when great darkness shall engulf the earth, while His people walk in the
Light of the Lord Jesus. God wants us to "walk in the Light" now lest
we presumptuously think all is well because we have good doctrine, and attend a
good church. We must have true faith, lest in our presumption we find that Day
to be one of darkness... and we "stumble on the dark mountains", and
look for the light that is not there. No matter how dark the night may be
surrounding us, "the children of the Light" will walk in the Light of
God. When gross darkness covered the whole land of Egypt...there was
"Light" in the homes of the people of God.
As
God's wrath is poured out on a world of iniquity, God has made every provision
for the children of Light - and that provision is nothing less than the
"whole Armor of God". (Eph. 6), described in Romans as "the
Armor of Light" (Rom.13:12). The climatic battle of the ages is closing in
upon us, and God will have a Gideon army whose only weapons were - a trumpet
and a pitcher...with a lamp inside the pitcher. Right now they seem to be doing
nothing for God--as they sit in the darkness on the hillside. But in that Day
they will break their pitchers and hold their lamps high; and with trumpet
blast (a sure, clear voice from God) they will declare their victory- with no
other weapons than the Armor of God. Gideon's army shouted aloud, "The
Sword of the Lord and of Gideon...!" -- and panic and fear griped the
hearts of the enemy until they fled in terror. There were many volunteers in
Gideon's army at first...32,000 of them... But God sent most of them home,
choosing to use only 300, whom He knew would give Him all the glory.

A Word From The Lord
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is Good.
His mercy endures forever.
The Lord says, "I'll never leave you or forsake you.
In all your ways acknowledge me and I will encompass you and
I will hold you up in my arms.
For I have called you for This Day.
I know the plans of blessing that I have for you and I will
bring it to pass. My arm is not short.
I will accomplish that which I have purposed in Myself
taking council with Myself.
There is none higher than I.
I have come to comfort you This Day, even in a time where
desperation might try to hit
you because of the circumstances around you.
you because of the circumstances around you.
I, the Lord, have My hand upon you. I am bearing My Holy
arm.
I shall make Myself known to you and through you in This Day
in a way that you have not known.
Even when circumstances flood your soul,
I shall arise in the midst of you and raise a standard.
You shall think even as I think about your situations.
You shall begin to know what I think about everything
and know the perspective that I see.
I see it finished.
I see it done and so shall you.
Even though the circumstances around you will cause you
to think that it will never happen.
The Lord says, "I have taken you out of time and placed
you in me
where there is no time.
I AM The Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The End
I AM The Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The End
I prepare you for the ages to come, not just for this time.
I prepare you to show my manifold wisdom in the ages to come
to principalities and everything that exalts itself against
Me.
I shall rise within you and I shall be your God.
Not by your power or might but by My Spirit shall it be done.
By the Spirit that I have recreated in you when I
reconnected myself
to you in communion you will know Me.
You were born for such a time as this
that you might show forth the glory that I've given you in
this earth.
I send you that you might create a river that flows.
Everywhere that river flows will bring life.
We shall be one.
I am a life giving Spirit that shall flow as rivers of
living water.
I AM that I AM hath called you This Day
I will place a living reality in your heart of who I AM.
I don't need the arm of the flesh.
I need willing people that will become bone of my bone and
flesh of my flesh.
Commune with Me.
I will reveal Myself to you and cause you to stand in this The
Day Of The Lord.

EXPERIMENTALLY
has He COMPLETELY triumphed over the areas, all the areas of
my personality? Now that’s
another question. That’s another question. That is the
practical unfolding of a JUDICIAL
TRUTH. Judicially, He has triumphed. EXPERIMENTALLY, He is
in the process. In the
process, NOW, this is the process. A moving over, your
NATURE, my NATURE, “My Kingdom,”
He said. He wants to possess His Kingdom; the Kingdom is
within you, it’s within me.
But this Kingdom has been usurped, you see, by the powers of
the enemy. And He’s bring
ing it back to it’s possession. JUDICIALLY, He has paid the
price. EXPERIMENTALLY, He
is NOW, by the power of His Spirit, bringing the
POSSESSION into REALIZATION.

His Life...
2Co 4:7-10 (Darby) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels,
that the surpassingness of the power may be of God, and not from us,
every way afflicted, but not straitened; seeing no apparent issue,
but our way not entirely shut up; persecuted, but not abandoned;
cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body
the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body;
When a believer accepts the grace of our Lord Jesus in being his substitute on the cross, although he may remain woefully ignorant of his being crucified with Christ he is given God's life nonetheless and has his spirit quickened. This imparted new life brings with it a new nature as well. Hence there now exists both two lives and two natures in the believer: the soul life and the spirit life on the one side, the sin nature and God's nature on the other. These two natures--old and new, sinful and godly-are fundamentally unalike, irreconcilable and unmixable. The new and the old daily strive for authority over the whole man. During this initial stage the Christian is a babe in Christ because he is yet fleshly. Most variable and most painful are his experiences punctuated by both successes and failures. Later on he comes to know the deliverance of the cross and learns how to exercise faith in reckoning the old man as crucified with Christ. Triumph over the sin nature is like a door we step through by faith, One step taken and you are in, triumph over self is like a pathway: you walk and walk for the rest of your journey. The problem of two natures is resolved through reckoning by faith, the problem of two lives remains. It is as we deny ourselves (self life) daily that our soul is available to express the new nature. The old nature is a partnership of the soul and the body. The new nature is a partnership of the Spirit and the soul. May the Life of Jesus be manifested in our soul and body as we join ourselves to Him.
